Today, I am in Osaka
We've been recording
"Kaiketsu Emichan Neru"

It's been a long time since I've laughed from the bottom of my heart.
Once again I felt the power of laughter.
It gave me energy as well.

Mar. 31 - HowMon (How to Monkey)

The truth is that yesterday...
It was my favorite show to record for
"How to Monkey Baby"
We celebrated the final show.

Idol Baseball was the retirement game.
I have a lot of various feelings flitting around inside me, but I worked hard.
My combination with Gekidan Hitori-san starting from "Yaguchi Hitori" about 6.5 years ago.

In general, the two of us did many various challenges, although I would occasionally fail because I was allowed to be at ease and such.
Hitori-san was considerably at ease (LOL)
[took liberties and wasn't always proper]

I was really able to absorb many important things.
It was a program that really allowed me to grow into the Yaguchi Mari that I am today.

I am very very grateful.
I've really been with Hitori-san a long time, and with the staff for about 6 years now.
The title changed, but we were all still together through it all.
Quickly we were a family.

We developed good relationships.
It's incredibly sad.
I couldn't stop the tears from pouring while we finished our recording from regretting how we must break up.

To everyone who supported us,
Truly, thank you very much!
For both everyone's participation and planning! This is a very precious memory.

I believe from the bottom of my heart that I want to work with this team again, and so, I will keep supporting them until such a day, at which time I think I will become very happy.

Mar. 30 - I'm home~

I'm now getting back after work finished.

Since tomorrow is another early day, I say I'm going to prepare by going to sleep.

When I woke up this morning, it didn't hurt as much as yesterday and so it seems to be immediately better.

Mine was properly sprained, but
because sprains don't heal easily, it can easily become a recurring thing so please be careful!

Resignedly, I slipped into bad after getting a sprain.

It was my own carelessness.

What a blunder.

But, there doesn't appear to be anything out of the ordinary with the bone, so I am fine~yon!

Because the rehearsals for our tour will start soon, I will quickly heal up.

Mar. 29 - Somehow or other

I did absolutely nothing today.

I was determined to do Bo---.
I thought a little about various things to do.
I was thinking, I can never think when around friends, and if I give myself the opportunity I might be able to think of something important to do.

But, if I do something good, then I would regret it not being enough.
It's a contradiction, huh.

Tomorrow onward, I will still do my best.

Mar. 28 - Now

Hello.

There are still various things that make me anxious, but I think of fun things day by day to pass the time.
I wonder what I can do today to pass the time?
I'm in the middle of thinking about it.

Mar. 27 - An 80's Era Style

Today was the recording of
"Aimana"!

I tried to curl my outter strands in an 80s style, the reason being that it seemed fun after I watched a program.
Does it feel nostalgic?
If I curled it wrong, I apologize.

However, yesterday's coldness made me worry about today, but the weather today is better than yesterdays, which is a relief.

Mr. Weather, please be favorable with your (temperature) trends.

Mar. 26 - Smile

Today it is cold again, ne?
Spring - come - early!
Please bring your warmth to everyone!

Right now it may still be cold, but spring is coming soon.
Just be patient a little longer.
Everyone will have warm feelings.

Another good way to get nice and warm is a good laugh/smile!
Once when I was having a laughing fit, I could feel my body growing warmer.

I recommend smiling.

Mar. 25 - Okinawa International Film Festival

The fact is, yesterday,
I participated in the Okinawa International Film Festival's Charity Event.
I MC'd with the two guys from Oriental Radio.

Myself as the exception, all the Yoshimoto actors that were there were a little lost, but they all followed along very well and everyone at the assembly had very warms feelings, making it an incredibly fun time.
Thank you for that.

A lot of people helped with fundraising too.
As I was able to circulate among the people, I had this feeling of wanting to do as much as I could to give everyone hope.
If you are up for it, by all means, please go the Post Okinawa Film Festival events.

Everyone,

There is still a way to go before there is nothing left in the atmosphere, and we get closer every day.

Otherwise, it looks like a demon of some kind (LOL).

It gives me a warm feeling.

Today I have work from morning until night time.
I'm scared of the possibility of aftershocks during that time, but...
No matter what, I will give it my all.

Mar. 18 - Thoughts

Yesterday and today I thought I would watch the news, however,
I decided the most important things that those in the afflicted areas needs most right now are oil and gasoline, don't ya think?
Of course, I think it seems like food is (most important), but in this snowy and cold weather, heaters too (are important) even if they are only turned on at night... I'd like to see that in the shelters.
It is cold in Tokyo too... but I imagine it is even colder there.
Therefore, to the people buying and distributing things to the people in afflicted areas so that they can quickly get gas and oil, thank you very very much ! !

I knew I live in a warm, comfortable, totally ordinary environment.
However, I've come to realize that many people I meet in person are facing difficulties and that these things considered ordinary/common mean nothing.

What sorts of things can I do, as hasty as I am?
Continue on.
Conserving energy and water... I've made donations, but aside from that I can only wish/hope for things, but then again I can't just hope.
But, everyone, until you're lifestyle becomes warm [ordinary], keep working, and keep hope.

My thoughts are of that variety today.

Everyone.

One after another earthquakes and aftershocks keep coming; it's scary huh.
Last night Tokyo shook too, but it was tolerable.
The cold days seem to be continuing still, so be attentive to your body in taking a second to make sure you're wearing warm things.

In the darkness there is certainly a light.
Somehow, don't lose your smile.

And already I think many people are hearing this, but [listen] once again please.
Continue collaborating to save energy and water, please.
After that, really don't buy too much at the stores.
And then the people I am around are pretty concerned, but many understand the situation.
I, by myself, am also of no good or defending against any extra disasters.
[This last sentence is funky, I think she is saying there might not be much you can do personally against all the problems that keep cropping up, but sticking together and cooperating will surely make a difference]

However, right now, things are progressing with the people in the disaster area.
A lot of lives are being saved now, with many people buying food and everyday items at shops for the victims, but there is also the situation of those that haven't been rescued.

Please.
Right now, let's help those in difficult situations.
It's okay to buy excess if it's for that purpose. Even though I want to shop as I usually do. It's just like that.

Everyone.
Are you able to save water and energy?
I, too, am endeavoring to refrain from using them.
As well, lets buy only what we need [quit buying excess].
Do this with whatever you can; it seems there isn't sufficient supplies to send to the impacted areas.

If everyone has the mindset of unity, I believe the confusion/disorder/chaos will diminish.

Subsequently, regarding donations, there have been various places operating for donations.

I think it is important now that many people say they are connecting with one another through conversations on places like blogs.
For example, if someone tells me that I was able to assist even one person, that is enough to keep me going.

Mobile phones don't work, however
people can still use the internet.
Use this as much as you please.

[Landlines are the only phone services working in the Tokyo area, last I heard from a friend. Most people are leaving only their computers/TVs on... and even then, many are using their hand-held devices to twitter so as to save electricity their computers would normally take up.]

Mar. 13 - 2011/03/13

Two days have passed since the earthquake, but the damage from it leaves us in a very serious situation huh.
Even now I am still worried about the evacuated people.
I can only hope for things like the damage not worsening.

Watching the news, it seems many people are mourning for the family and friends they can't get confirmations from, and though it is a modest place to do so, it is no problem if those who watch my blog try commenting [to try to reach them].

Also, power conservation and
Fund raising (please make sure it is a genuine organization)
Let's assist one another by freely exchanging what information we know.
I want to be able to do as much as possible as well.

Afterward, it seems like a lot of incorrect rumors have been floating about.
I can't comprehend why someone would do such a thing under these circumstances.
It's very sad.
Please stop forwarding those chains mails containing such information.

The correct information will come from the TV or hand-held devices, but I would also recommend information confirmed or dispatched on the radio.

I wish for everyone' lives to be safe one day.

Mar. 12 - Earthquake.

Is everybody okay?
I am safe.
The house became very sloppy from the disaster, but my family and friends are safe as well.

However,
it was terrifying.
I experienced firsthand how horrifying the earthquake was.

Yesterday, I was in Odaiba and in the process of doing my make up, and was surprised at how violent the tremors were while taking cover.
Afterward, I waited for quite some time in Odaiba and was able to keep track of the circumstances while waiting for further instructions.
They said the trains were stopped
and that cars were at a standstill ...
With no other option, I walked home.

About halfway back I caught a taxi, but it took two hours to go about 3 kilometers...
I finally arrived back home completely exhausted 2 hours before midnight.
It was very difficult.

However, for the people effected by the epicenter, it was a hundred-fold worse and my heart breaks thinking about them.

There are still aftershocks, so even at night, be sure to be careful, please.

I sincerely pray for everybody's safety.

It's become incredibly slow, but

Today I was in eastern Niigata prefecture with MAX on a location shoot <3
It was snowing off and on, but the location shoot was fun nonetheless
